Hot Shot Poem by Dennis Fausz

Hot Shot

Rating: 4.5

I sit here silently thinking
Of being there, yet
Whenever I get there,
I sit there and think of
When I was silently sitting
Here thinking of there?

Millions of toxic, poisonous and passionate thoughts are swimming around inside my head. They are turning my armor into rust and it's slowly flaking off polluting my blood and filling me with rage. O' the hate I feel against her. I want to inject, all that infects me into her and watch her retch as it mixes slowly with her blood breaking the needle off inside of her vein; leaving it to circulate inside her blood stream until it finds its way to that place she calls a heart. Better yet, I want to strangle her and breathe in all the love that I gave her, as she exhales her final breath then give her artificial respiration to revive her and start all over again! Thee once said 'I'll love you forever… as long as you don't murder me.' Lover in this life there are thing far worse than murder, my love for you is one of them'
