House derelict
Falling bit by bit
The wood
The stone
windows and doors
Creaking and falling.
This house be a hundred
Kilometers and more from nearest humanity
And the night forms a barrier wall
Around.
Here bats giant fly and figures black
Taut and thin
Hurry in
Hurry out
On the ground damp and mists
Of bogs infernal;
Here hate and envy lie.
How many thorns and beasts
To overcome to come even near just to the
House derelict
Falling bit by bit
The wood
The stone
windows and doors
Creaking and falling
