If you ask me
How I'm feeling
You know
I'll always say
'great'
But if you insist
I'll tell you what,
I won't make you wait
We both know
what we really feel.
How much longer
must we lock away
our feeling?
I'll shout it
From the balcony -
I'll tell everyone
You're mine
Happy and proud
We'll have dinner
That'll consist
Of some elegant wine
If they ever ask
About our plans
We won't say 'I'
We will share
The rest of our lives
And possibly forever
Until we die
