How Are You Failing? Poem by Percy Dovetonsils

How Are You Failing?

How are you failing? Let me count the ways.
You're failing to the depth and breadth and heights
Your shaded soul can reach, when dealing out slights
With your racist, conman's, plays.
You're failing to the level of every day's
Most urgent need, by sun and twitter-night.
You're failing freely, stirring up the right.
You're failing surely, with all the hell you raise.
You're failing passionately as you abuse
Your nation and your office, with your infantile disgrace.
You're failing every day, and always seem to lose
Your way. You fail us all nor do your lies make America great,
Rather sinking all our lives; and, if God choose,
May you sink yourself but not our ship of state..
