How can I not love my friend
Who's done so much for me
She's shown me how to love again
And set my spirits free

She gave to me what I had missed
She opened up my heart
I felt so wanted being with her
At ease right from the start

I knew that there was something
About her that was real
I learned that it was love
Her love that I could feel

So how can I not love my friend
Who let me in that day
There's something that we feel
Each day it comes my way
