How Can I Really Understand Poem by Gert Strydom

How can I have comprehension
of how deep your love lies,
when you fold your hands over me
and pray that my life
are mended and get much better.

How can I really understand
about what our lives together are,
if out of yourself and without force
you make sacrifices for me.

There’s times that I
do not really understand you
and times that I thank Him
and ask that you
never go out of my life.
