How Dare Them Poem by Randy McClave

How Dare Them

I know a lot of people who goes to church
We all adhere to the pastor's read verse,
Together we all sit and listen and then pray
And we all know that Jesus is the only way.
We all say we follow the teachings of Jesus,
We proclaim that he is in everyone of us.

I know that when church's lets out
I see and hear Christian sisters and brothers shout,
Others they enjoy to then ridicule and mock
To those whose are different or not a part of their flock.
I read and hear about about many of their posts,
When others they mock and ridicule in toasts.

I know what the Bible has said
The Bible I have indeed have read,
Jesus said to love and not to hate your enemy
Whether from a different land or from your own country.
Jesus was mocked and hated then,
Still today Christians mock and hate and judge with the same sin.

They say they are our Christian brothers and sisters
But, they love to create sores and blisters,
And people that look or believe are different than them
They curse them instead of singing them a hymn.
How dare them call themselves a Christian,
If others would truly read their posts and then listen.
