How Do You Forgive? Poem by Makayla Straight

How can you find forgiveness,
In somebody who hurt you so bad?
You still love them.
But the pain is still here,
Can it not go away?
Can we just move on from the pain?
How can we find love for that one person
After all the damages were done?
You want to be with that person,
But the question is
Will they hurt us again?

Are these the questions we have to find out the hard way...
It sucks we have to put our hearts in such a situation that might just
eat us away....
