A Message To My Mom Poem by Makayla Straight

A Message To My Mom

Rating: 5.0

Where were you when I needed you?
Were you with that wanna be?
I should have known.
You'd take any guy.
Instead of taking care of your daughter.
I don't know why I waste my time writing about you.
When you don't give a damn about me or the other kids you lost.
Yes, I amitt I stil love you.
But now think do you really love me?
Do you care for any other person besides you?
If you did stop KILLING me with your actions.
I am tired of hearing about your accidents.
I never asked you for anything.
Now I will, though you might not do this....
Can you please CLEAN UP?
Take some RESPONSIBILITY for your actions and your kids.
Could you do that for me?
You write saying how your life is hell.
Life is what you make of it.
If you don't like it, change it.
If you put your mind to something you could do anything you want to.
If you want to clean up.... DO IT! ! !
I believe in you.

A touching write...demanding one from a feeling daughter...and quite justifiably so...after sheer darkness a bright dawn is sure to emerge, Makayla...10

You still love your mom and that is good, it keeps you living your own life. Remove the hatred in your heart, this way you have your peace.
