It was a day just like today
Not that long ago
You came along, you sang your song
You made the inside me grow

You made my life come alive
Just by being yourself
You always seemed to be around
Just when I needed you the most

I don’t know what I’d do
If you were ever to go
My life would be so meaningless
I just wanted you to know

It was a night just like tonight
Not that long ago
You came to me, you made me see
How easily love can grow
