How Fragile - Poem by Ricardo Louw

How fragile my hands hold this leaf
How tender this life and so brief
How peaceful the dream I awake
How often these errors I make

All that i see is so physical
It's hard to believe in this miracle
Life is deep and life has meaning
When i'm happy, it seems like i'm stealing

Hold my hand and save me
Keep me safe and love me
Feel me, touch me, be me
Crawl inside and free me

I love how connected this poem is phrased, it seems gentle, yet curious. (Report) Reply
