How Glad Am I You Didn'T Walk In Earlier Poem by Taylor Petty

How Glad Am I You Didn'T Walk In Earlier

His laughter played itself over and over again in my mind,
Like a broken record player.
His beautiful brown eyes were engraved in my memory.
His smile danced in my thoughts.
Behind closed lids, I saw his face.
I parted them, and there he was.
And he was just as remarkable as I had remembered him.
I love him.

Funny story...I had the hugest crush on a guy for like a year. One day I was in the beauty shop and I was like, 'wouldn't that be hilarious if I saw him in here'. And my goodness, I blink and he's there. Scary right? The reason for the title was that earlier, I had been under the dryer asleep, and I'm talking like drooling and embassing sleep. It was horrendous.
