How Hard Words Can Be Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

How Hard Words Can Be

How beautiful the flow of blood can be
Each dropp representing something more for us to see
Each color dancing in its own glory
As if it was trying to sell us a story
The hands of sin clasp on to your beating heart
It sucks the life out of you and tears it apart
The darkness swarms and steals away your breath
Until it believes its time for your death
The colors so warm as it pours to the ground
Your eyes turning shades as you lose all your sound
Chains lock away pain and strip you of pride
Desperately reaching out for someone to be by your side
Nothing is near you as you brown in your sorrows
Never again will you wish for tomorrow
The time fades faster as your beats tend to fall
So desperate for life that you're starting to crawl
In vain you search for a way to heal
All the misery from your soul and so again you can feel
The shadows are calling out to your name
The blood is beginning to mangle your frame
How could you allow this to come into place
How is it what's haunting you are another ones face
Is this their fault that you're falling like this
Is it their fault that they'll know what you miss
The figures are now all altered and things aren't so clear
As the sounds fade you try so hard just to hear
Close those steel eyes and lets just embrace
Be opened to death and learn to misplace
The feelings of pain and the insane visions
Cause all they are after is one simple mission
To destroy your world and for you to crash down
Now there is nothing left but for the blood to surround
Your very soul as it steals it from your hands
Now its malicious smile starts to expand
So fare well to the world and the way that it breaks
The sad thing is that this was all a mistake
