How I long to be wanted
or needed by you.

A simple touch or kiss of affection
is all I need from you.

You act as if I am a burden;
a burden that you wish to be rid of.

I long for you to look at me
the same way you used to.

Have I done something wrong;
something to make you feel this way?

How can I change the way you feel
about me, about us, about everything?

I really do want to be with you;
to be what you need me to be.

How can I prove to you
that we need each other?

We are meant to be together;
you and I, forever.
