How I See Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

How I See

How I see

They call him Khalid Masood
-recently Adrian Russell Ajao
-and I laugh deep into my tummy
-it is not the first time
-simply a name change
-a mistake
-possibly intentioned
-to water the disgust planted
-to have hate of others,
-now Muslims
-this flag has flown for too long
-open eyes and your heart
-and your mind
-travel deep in time
-history of tribes,
-of pirates to monarchs

All the same
-full of shit
-full of hate
-based on lies

Nobody is wise to see inside
-it is dark
-it is dark
-it is dark

Name changes have causes
-if ever take place
-like Ali the boxer
-Malcolm X
-and Ernest who turned Che
-all changes have faith base
-see Jesus
-he comes and his friends
-are mainly the so called rejected

We face same
-see the dark
-see the dark
-see the dark
