How I Wish (Sonnet #89) Poem by Tina Rizk

How I Wish (Sonnet #89)

Oh how I wish to have superpower,
Being able to move faster than light.
I'd be in your arms in less than an hour,
Crossing oceans on the threads of sunlight.

Yet my heart carries the power of love,
The mightiest in the whole universe.
My soul never ceases to pray and hope,
For in your true love, I'm fully immersed.

But we're always together, sweet soulmate,
Should I dive deep in Poseidon's blue seas,
Should I roam as an astronaut in space,
Your heart and soul would still beat within me.

And when I'll be breathing in paradise,
Our love we'd be celebrating in the skies.
