How I Won And Lost A Million



I won a million dollars
in the local lottery
and I returned to the shop
and said - gratefully -
to the people who sold
me the ticket:
'Thanks a million'


And so they said, courteously:
'Thank you, Sir' -
and they took the million
away from me
