How Large Are You Poem by Abdulrasheed Dawodu

How Large Are You

Arcturus
A star, above so high
I only hear of her might
Far beyond the visualisation of my mind
So large in size

Antares
Another of its kind
But much larger in sight
The fifteenth brightest star in the sky
Like a drop of needle in Nile
The comparison of Earth to her size

A man
Littler than an atom in their sight
Larger than the stars in pride
How large is thy provision in life?
Just a fragment of pieces from Betelguese
Another star, so large in size

O ye troubled mind
How large are thy plight
That leaves ye so much in fright
How large is thy Lord the Most High
The Creator of riches and plight
