How life is defined

Neither can I laugh nor cry,
Yet, I carry on life
I would watch day passes day and night passes night
Seeing not you, but YOU, through a blank stare of eyes
What's in that deep, fathomless mind
Not love, nor hate, in the looks of your eyes
How would then we define our life?
Who's crying last night?
Softly, but who's cried?
Was that you - crying for your misery and for mine?
Or was that I? I cried in the night
Is it how our life defined?
Must we be entangled in a madness of mind?
Of life, love, of yours and mine
how should our life be defined!
