How Much? Poem by Peter Vealey

How Much?

How much?
How much,
Have we lost?
Can we regain,
Tags, labels, and cliches.
'Normal', 'New', 'Old',
Just don`t cut it!
How much pain?
Let in the rain.
Freshen up the drains.
How much cruelty,
Must end.
How much love,
Must we bring,
Back to our lives?
Start today,
And say simply,
'I love you' and 'you love me'!
