How much do you truly love God?
Is He the Lord of your body, your soul, and your spirit,
or merely the God you display on your phone screen?
Is God your Master,
or just a name you post so no one notices the life of sin you hide behind the curtain?
Is He your Lord,
or only the One you run to when conviction strikes your heart and fear grips your conscience?
Tell me honestly,
when you say you love God, how much do you love Him?
Do you love Him enough to obey Him?
Enough to fear Him?
Enough to turn away from the very things that crucified His Son?
Or is your love for God just an emotion that appears when life hurts you,
and disappears the moment pleasure calls your name?
Listen carefully, brother.
Listen carefully, sister.
This is not a game.
God is not a decoration for your social media,
nor a mask you wear when your conscience begins to burn.
The question is simple, yet terrifying:
Do you love God sincerely…
or have you only accepted Him as comfort when you are broken,
while your heart still belongs to the world?
For many claim His name with their lips,
but their lives shout another gospel.
So search your heart.
Because the day will come when words will not matter,
only the truth of your love for Him will remain.
