How Much Love You Alone Bring Into It Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

How Much Love You Alone Bring Into It

Amongst the snowdrifts, I see you.
A mysterious white snow queen,
Icy, yet warmly enticing
You are hardly in focus.
And yet, I dare not blink.
In the event a curtain is fully drawn.
Always superfluous, butterflies are all around me.
But I want to put my faith in you.
And imagine for just one second,
You too won't melt away from my heart or view.
And now there is a division of white noise
between us to contend with.
As well as my poetry,
The world enjoys building invisible walls.
Walls you can't eradicate, no matter
How much love you alone bring into it.
