How Nice Poem by Majid Gaggi

How Nice

How nice

How nice, quiet and easier
Were those old and passed days
There was no television or even radio
Relative people used to
Gathered at nights seating in a circle
Specially during winter nights
Gathering around a local heater
Sharing a traditional drink, tea
With an old person as a teller
Usually was a grandfather or cousin
Telling stories full of wisdom
All were silence and listening
Only the voice of the teller is hearing
It takes a long time of the night
It was great and beautiful times
Which we miss and lost for ever
Because of the modern things
That enters our live and time
Change every thing
Specially the style of our live
We were able to share
The late of these traditional habits
We wish if it will return
And come back that nice time again
The life was nice, peaceful
Easy going, simple and quiet
How nice, quiet and easier
