How Not To Be A Poet Poem by George BernardBloodyShaw

How Not To Be A Poet

Rating: 5.0

Trouble with words
they flow,
when they flow
they're gone,
just a-blowin'
in the wind.

How absurd, to be a word, a blurb upon the page. So many words and yet my friend not one that I can say. If I were but a simple bard with words, lets say, a plenty I'd write of cabbages and kings until my quill was empty. But thinking on this further a word within your ear to be a little word or two would make me feel quite dear. d'you 'ear? Emilybloodybarddickinson
