How Should I Spake To Thee? Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

How Should I Spake To Thee?

Shall my words be sweet and creamy?
Full of rainbows and sweet nothings?
Then you said, I'm fresh and dreamy,
Wishful words not worth some farthings;

Shall my words be sad and gloomy?
As of sage, so wrinkled of moods?
Or of doom and dead leaves dreary,
So much like Autumn in the woods;

Or will I spake sweetly while sad,
Like poems too old, of Time that ran,
Or of truth, either good or bad,
Or of birth, when dire pain began;

Please find my speech of present rings,
And not of Past, that Time forgot,
Nor of morn, the breaking day brings,
But of ourselves, that we now got.
