How Thoughtful! Poem by Denis Martindale

A few special people in my life
have always been there to help me.
When I think of them, I feel inspired
to assist others who might not even ask for it.
It's about being sensitive to their true needs,
beyond just what they say or how they act.

We should strive to do good while we can,
guided by more than just understanding or intuition.
Praying for people instead of merely talking with them
can make a big difference if we seek God's guidance.
If we ask Him for wisdom, He will provide it.

This is different from what man understands
or records for future generations.
Some things can only be truly understood
after the blessing has happened
and then shared as a gift for the future.

I tested again, reciting EASTER IN ART and got
a summary of my lines of poetry that described
the content of the poem. This would be a good
way poets could introduce new poems to others
before their poems get to be read or recited.
