However Poem by Catherine Casey

However

However - a get out clause
Like Santa visits prison.
Mr Bond meets crocodile
With sudden impaired vision.

However - awaiting judgement
Before the final gavel.
Arriving truck of evidence
Means free to plan your travel.

However - at the launch pad
Before the final brake off.
A spider in the helmet -
Postponed - To take your gear off.

However - caught with mistress
In dexterous position.
Zooming out - upon a stage.
Applause for the rendition.

However - in a dragon’s mouth
With malodorous intent.
Amusement ride in Devon.
A shilling thought well spent.

However - taxing situation.
In peril of looming doom.
Just read it to full end.
In haste do we presume.
