Donna Lou Resurreccion

Hue - Poem by Donna Lou Resurreccion

Color my life
nothing but grey
dark skies, ominous clouds
rain pours flooding my world
and never ceases

Yours are azure, red and emerald
those rainbow hands
brushes the faint dullness
of my world, forlorn

I want to know
how it feels
as the rays of the sun
creeps into my skin
the warmth and comfort
it conveys

Topic(s) of this poem: grief
