Hues Of Life Poem by Porselvi Roy

Hues Of Life

The ray of golden sun gently touches
Dewdrops on flower tops of pretty pink
Cool breeze of morn sways away and snatches
The scent of lily blooms on river brink

As he longed to see her graceful visage
That taught him of heavenly countenance
The moon appeared dancing in the dark stage
And foretold the beauty's queenly presence

The hues of life bend across the horizon
Painting the goal of love in merry mind
But the calm blue sky is in derision,
Calling out for spiritual love that bind

And in peace he waited for her coming
And in harmony she appeared singing
