Poem Poem by Porselvi Roy

Poem

The blank white screen
blatantly stares at her
as the labor is on

an unbearable twinge
a formidable might
the daring mother
sweats and toils

the seconds holds onto eternity
bending the arc upon infinity

And with smiling tearful eyes
upon her tired tan cheeks
she heaves a sigh of relief

And out comes a tiny little wonder
