Hum! De-Dum Hum! Poem by David Kinyanjui

Hum! De-Dum Hum!

Rating: 5.0

I saw them in town,
they were two sitting down.
The big lady was beating drums,
Hum! de-dum! Hum!

They serenaded like lyric,
she did it with psych.
Alas! her audience though,
acted deaf and dumb,
She could not help but watch them pass through.

The little girl had thrown in the towel,
since realizing her efforts were not taken well.
She equaled paled ink,
she looked weak,
she was sick.

Hum! de-dum! Hum!
what to do but be mum?
