Human?

Human?

We grow up. We cease to be children.

We forget how to use a skipping rope but we still smile when we hear that song.

We’ve done everything we wanted to do by the time we’ve reached twenty one.

so we wake up, we go to work, we come home.

We sleep more and more every year.

We find ways to fulfil our lives. Some of us have kids. Some of us have cats. Some of us live in mansions, some in boxes. Some of us fill our time with hobbies. Some find religion. Some find alcohol.

Some of us watch TV.

We worry about what will happen.
And when it happens, we’re still worrying.

We ask questions which will never be answered. We search for traces of life on other planets, even though we do not fully comprehend our own.

We watch the six o’clock news, it makes us sad. But we still watch it.

We look through other people's windows even though our eyesight is poor.

We spend our past dreaming of the future. We spend our future showing people photos of the past.
