Human Rights 1 Poem by Veeraiyah Subbulakshmi

Human Rights 1

millions had lost their love life,
left their wives and girl friends,
to the royal hands of uncut nails,
orphaned kids pulled horse's tail.

Millions had lost their useful limbs,
left with bodies minus the fingers,
scared human wrapped in fear and tear,
delusion prevailed while war paid pay check,

Millions had lost their confidence,
when the whip taught cruel lessons,
under the sun, moon, stars and dark,
when ever rotating earth circled calm.

when seven horsed chariot galloped and rose,
crowns surrendered to power of fingers!

people of third world nations shouldn't bargain their right to vote for petty benefits, because our ancestors had worked hard for the freedom we enjoy today..
