Do you live in Africa?
Have you heard of a fellow called humanity there?
I hear her popularly mentioned but never given reception there
I hear she roams around seeking refuge from border to border there
I hear she is popularly preached but seldom seen among men there
The likes of Peace, Love Unity and Liberty are her counterparts
Humanity, is there residence for her in Africa?

I hear Madiba before his souls went to rest had a chance to host her
I hear Kagame saying that they too desired for her visit
I hear Kenyans have space for her dwelling but she has not yet arrived
Kizza says they don't mind hosting her but Uganda might be too hostile for her
Pierre argues that Burundi is too small for her and her counterparts
I hear she is being labeled too demanding, so no one wants to host her
Humanity, is there residence for her in Africa?

I hear the other day she took breakfast in Gambia
I hear she later had dinner in Senegal with ECOWAS
I hear the EAC kept talking about peace and liberty; her faithful counterparts
I hear she left those places for elsewhere
I hear that for security reasons her disclosure is seldom permitted

I hear EAC talk of hosting her in Bujumbura, Nairobi or Kigali
I hear they are soon securing a place for her residence in Muyinga that far end
I hear they are to resolve for a place like Ngozi if not Bujumbura
I hear she doesn't mind her residence placed in Migingo Island
I hear she is not too choosy to reject Rufunzo Valley
I hear she loves the cool sides of Lolwe, Oyasi or even Sabanerwa
Humanity, is there residence for her in Africa?

I desire the EAC receives her better in Burundi than in Gambia
I hear she can give a better dance than she performed in Gambia
I hear she is on her way coming to feel the cool weather of Harare
I hear she loves honesty and her place is not with power hungry
I hear she is looking for space in the hearts of men even in Harare
I wonder why she is deserted in the hearts of men
