Hunger Poem by Corazone Aquino

Hunger

Rating: 2.5

Rabbles of a smile on this pretty face
Hidden bitter stretches under the curves
A constant reminder of the mash in me
The salty tears that have flown for ages
And this heart always thirsty and achy

I cry like a child for the childhood lost in the wind
And the scar that has come of age

Inside me a wild
Desperate and impatient need to be loved
A huge fire that consumes all zeal and beauty
I present me soul to every forever promise

Every tight grip strangles every chance
And then the tears begin to flow again.
