Hungry For Facts Poem by Tanner Herndon

Hungry For Facts

I am hungry for facts, but
Craving revenge.
I am starving for the truth,
So I guess I will die emaciated
And anorexic while my mind eats
Away all that I am.
I will never figure it all out
It isn't possible and it's a thought
Not even conceivable.
The death of my sanity is rapidly approaching,
I just need to give up and be like a
Seahorse and just give birth to a better life-
I am starving, although I try to eat away
At the possibilities, all that does is
Make my teeth fall out,
Sometimes I have a hard time chewing the
Circumstances and can't believe everything-
But being a logical person I feel I should.
I am dying of starvation and will just die
Emaciated and anorexic while my mind
Eats away the rest of my sanity and licks
The plate clean.
