Hunter Poem by Negatu Asmamaw

Hunter

Rating: 5.0

Down by her heart, by the river,
Surreptitious, came the hunter;
She can see him, and she can hear,
She can feel, that he is near,
But to go, she couldn't bear,
Oh what a target, oh what a dear,

He can listen, her beating heart,
He can feel, her dozen fright,
And he knows, how much she's hurt,
Can't lose a chance, he cant revert,

When the time ticks, the time after,
When his bow was, inches higher,
There was another,
Whose flying spear, run in the air,
Before he wished, it was later,

Oh what a brave man what a hunter,
Who lost himself in a summer,
Reaching out a dear,
A dear that wasn't dear.
