Hurricane - Poem by Josh Howell

Tell me would you kill to see the light
Tell me would you chase me through the night
All of the things i do for you
I hope we can start brand new

All the things that i do
I guess they werent enough
and i know i was wrong
this friendship has been rough
i let all the anger
get to my mind
but when i think of you
happiness is all i find

Tell me would you fight for me baby
Tell me would you try if things got shaky
All of the things i do for you
I hope we can start brand new

The light is fading so dim
i can not see
i guess it went dark
the day you told me
i can see the future
its not very bright
cause baby any day
for you i'd fight

Tell me would you try to make it right
tell me would you be scared if i filled you with fright
All of the things i do for you
I hope we can start brand new

maybe i could get over you
maybe im in love with you
oh dear girl i dont know
i havent got a clue
please go out with me
im going insane
and i guess i destroyed our friendship
with a hurricane

Tell me would you hate me if i told you
Tell me would you care if i loved you
please go out with me
im going insane
and i guess i messed our friendship
with a hurricane

Tell me would you kill to see the light
Tell me would you chase me through the night
Tell me would you fight for me baby
Tell me would you try if things got shaky
Tell me would you try to make it right
Tell me would you be scared if i filled you with fright
Tell me would you hate me if i told you
Tell me would you care if i loved you

When i told you i loved you
it would never be the same
cause i screwed it all up
with a stupid hurricane..
