Hurt!
Laugh, don’t cry. It hurts too much to cry. It feels good to laugh. The spirit is flowing through you when you laugh and the devil flows through you when you cry. Don’t let the devil into your heart. He is only there to kill still and destroy. Don’t let more than you wish into your heart. Let only those who truly love you in. But there is no such true love from the human soul. So be careful who you let inside, those who make you cry may not be the ones to trust. But at the same time those who make you laugh may not be the ones to trust either. Don’t laugh don’t cry. Don’t even listen to what I say. Just please... Don’t get HURT!
Extremely good advice PW, but, the problem comes when those you love make you cry. not being appreciated is a painful experience. I do admit to loving a good laugh, but we poets are like the sea saw, up and down we go.
