Hut Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Hut

Hut

Said "Goodbye" to the "Hut"
-at Mid-Night
-the birds and animals
-even the raccoons but
-not skunk
Most insects
-like the worms and cockroach
-know of time
-some are gone and asleep
-some in search and awake
But mankind
-this burden and the pain
-in neck and butt of Earth
-is
The most
Confused
The mankind at midnight
is
-at work; some in bars,
-in bed and taking walk
-at home and talking talk
-oh the man
The Man
-is devil
Or angel
-the maker
Breaker
-of borders, barriers

In the "Things I Will Tell My Children About Destiny"
-Cynthia Manick is too right
-when writing and saying:
- "You will learn to master
camouflage among ordinary things—
men who spill words
not thoughts, trigger fingers
ready
to brand loose.

Hallelujah
-to her "Blue Hallelujahs"
