23) HYBRIDIZATION
high-time of hybridization-
the existing interests us not-
our head wanders indolently,
swims silently,
and rushes with a roar
away from the present
to see something new,
to discover
the view of the hue,
may be a little, still little,
with a change visible
or latent to be explained away
or invented
in or from the shoals of ennui
or the guilt of sleezy sizzle-
something suggestive,
if not creative-
to recreate
the unbaked and half-baked,
to enlighten
tie warmth-fearing and light-scary.
We don’t have the look
to look into
outlook;
inlook works
both ways!
Hungry looks,
grazing looks
look for
what was never lost.
