Hymn For Xethluna Poem by Jeprox G. Lingamen

Hymn For Xethluna

Xethluna, hear me play your sorrow’s song
With broken heartstrings, this could not last long
It may be shortlived, but still hearken deep
For it could go on, ‘til Time’s fast asleep
You see grayness that enfolds the blue moon
You overlook how it all flees too soon
Deep in your heart’s cup a thirst for love yawns
But when night rain falls, you slumber ‘til dawn
Why read my dreams’ tale, inscribed in your hand
When you knew you won’t voice out a demand
Yes, stake a bold claim on my flighty soul
Gamble your shards for a chance to be whole
My touch shall melt your fears’ metal hardness
My fire shall forge you back from brokenness
