Hide not from the sun, O great Leviathan
Terror of the seas, thou fearest no one
Let me see thy form outside of darkness
And you too shall find my famed flames’ starkness
Though our gods decreed our fates to be wont
You slay ‘neath grim waves, I rise from life burnt
My light of Meaning is yours to shadow
Whilst in between grows our souls’ shared hollow
So breathe your angst out, ‘til oceans are halved
And from their dry heart look up and be loved
As a Leviathan of such gift hath naught
As this firebird knew such bond’s danger fraught
Risk I eternal flame to see us be
But what embrace could survive fire and sea?
