Hypnosis Poem by Olayinka Faderera Olayiwola

Hypnosis

I think I did see her,
the same as the imagery I once saw in my dream...
in my trance of an ideal African beauty.

She stood tall and bold,
a towering mass of elegance.
A piercing seductive gaze, the summit of beauty;
so words cannot describe -
And yet, there before me she stood
Real as my heart beat,
so real it seemed she walked out of my dream.
