Hypochondriacs

The proud sought warmth,
madness not to do so
now it was in sight for all.

Historians answered their call,
and downloaders
of all things medical.

It wasn't possible for all.

The proud gave up their seeking
pleading insanity
for the ways they chose to punish
those who still weren't sure
and went to sea in boats
to seek
what they thought they had in store.

Shame to those who encourage that kind of behaviour, well written.
