Hysteria Poem by Gagan Ahuja

Hysteria

estranged lunar hysteria, me and my mania
it all but fails, the materia medica
Hysteria! when you're near
everyday dear, as the rain falls on my summer sun
I shine on my crazy diamond
I shine on my crazy ruby
all over and across the rainbow in the sky
it is only your name, says do not ask me why
oh! but where did your love lie?
She never taught me how to say goodbye!
Hysteria! when you're near
dressed in red she is
waiting alone in the college
Her collage of bridal braid

On my mural we show the burial
of the estranged few
who live behind closed doors
when the cold dark cloud is coming down

The pain, the dread, the awe
Hysteria! when you're near
