I Poem by Justin Tallman

I

running in circles
with juvenile thoughts
still aching
through words
adults don't speak
the is one last chapter
one last dark room
to conquer
with out the glory
of a night light

To do this
to shake this
I cannot not cast
a shadow
I must
be a shadow
I must beat the enemy
at it's own game

I write this all not
for entertainment
not for fame
not so a reader
can say 'Hey,
now with THIS
I can relate.'

I write not for you
but for I
because I cannot afford
a therapist
this is therapy
for I
