I Am Human Poem by Luzuko Dazela

I Am Human

As much as I have enough ink
To write on all leaves of the earth,
As much as I can easily sink
All the bads and goods of this earth;

I am human after all that,
I cannot cheat death.

I am an eraser of pains
A praiser of gains
I am a path to the light
A solitude stand of might

But after all that,
I am human, I can't cheat death

I am a healer of the souls
An example of the reached goals
I am the closest thing to perfection,
I think that needs some reconsideration

For I am human after all,
Like you, I have my moment to fall

I wrote this to confess my faults
And to diminish your golden thoughts
Of who I am,
I am no gem.

I am human after all,
I can't avoid this fall
I am human after this and that
I can't cheat death

But I hope you love me still
Embrace me like I'm a fortune steal
