I am just the dream.
Alive here to watch through awakened eyes.
Waiting here to rot before demise.
I am just the dream.
I have no heart for which you can take.
I have no ego for which you to break.
Desires do pump from head to breast.
Emotions do strive from mouth to breath.
But i am just the dream.
I watch for all it seems.
This body can take in so very much.
Yet i can neither taste nor touch.
I will wait through awakened eyes.
Learn all that i can surmise.
Wait until the day the body dies.
Then i will finally get my chance to rise.
I may be just the dream.
But i too hope to someday gleam.
