I Am Not Alone. Poem by Hannah York

I Am Not Alone.

Rating: 5.0

Always fighting
Falling under
It's so hard to breath
Drowning, spluttering
The bloods pouring down.
Can't stop now
I don't know how
How I ended up like this.
Smiles washing off my face
Taking on a reddish haze
Bloodlust consumes me.
Primitive clawing
Modern sawing
It's all the same.
Cover up
Hide away.
Deep down I will stay.
You think I'm cured
What does that mean?
It's more common than you think
Deep in the darkness.
Ideas form.
It's not time to leave now
Don't walk into the storm.
Razor blades
Burning flames
Even money can kill.
It'll be over soon
Just climb one more hill.
Can I make it this time?
Will the demons bring me down?
Like Lucifer I fell
Drowning in the wishing well.
But staring at the phone
I know,
I am not alone.
